Bruise Treatment

Arnica Cream £5.05 for 30mg

Arnica creamI used this cream after receiving many pole related bruises. I found that I had some very big, raised bruises which hurt to touch when I applied the cream. I found that the cream did help to calm the bruises down – but it can not be used if you are still pole dancing as you will slip on the pole. I also stopped doing the same pole dancing moves so that certain parts of my body had time to heal.

Arnica Tablets – Nelson Clikpak 84 for £4.95

arnica tabletsI first discovered these tablets when I got my tongue pierced and it swelled up quite badly, as expected. I found that these worked quite well and have since taken them for pole dancing bruises. I found that they are better than the cream as in theory they have the same effect but without having to put cream on your body – so you maintain your grip. Arnica is a homoeopathic remedy and as such some people are unsure of its effectiveness.

Distilled Witch Hazel £2.99 200ml

witch hazelI used witch hazel after getting bruise upon bruise after doing shoulder mounts and dismounts. It got to the point that my bruise was spreading and getting worse so that it hurt when I looked over my right shoulder. I applied witch hazel to it and found that the bruising went down relatively quickly. It did not hurt to apply as you soak the cotton wool with it and hold it on. I found that this product did not make my skin greasy which was great to be able to keep pole dancing.
